THE AUTHOR
Lidia Ziemnicka-Otto is an internationally published poet,
literary fiction writer, essayist and photographer.
Lidia started writing early, as a nine year old child
she wrote her first adventure novel. Soon after she began
to write poetry which she never abandoned.
Her poems have been published in literary magazines.
Lidia started her professional career as an English teacher
and a scientific researcher, then she taught literature,
five languages, mathematics and art. She continued her
business career as a technical translator and an editor.
Since 2004 Lidia Ziemnicka-Otto dedicates herself fully
to writing.
As an arts writer focusing on literature, art, classical
music, culture and science, Lidia contributes to print
and online publications. Her own website, www.lidiaotto.com,
is Lidia's favourite place to publish online.
She has poetry collections and several fictional works
for the forthcoming publications.
Lidia Ziemnicka-Otto is a member of English PEN
and German Federation of Journalists.
She is married with two grown daughters and lives
in Cologne.

in literary, classical music and cultural magazines and
until 2015 appeared under the name Lidia Otto.
A major essay on the composer Sergei Rachmaninoff found
its place in the musicology collections in the university
